Ms. Siauciunaite
grew up drawing...not only on scraps of paper, but also on the bottom of chairs. She started art school at the age of
12, where three years later, her first personal exhibit was organized. The critics were already acclaiming a budding
new artist. Upon her graduation with a Master's Degree in Fine Art from the Art Academy of Lithuania in Vilnius,
the young artist was invited to teach at the Siauliu Art Academy. She was also honored with a highly prestigious commission
to create a 22 foot long leather-relief panel in the Mayor's office. Her talents were widely recognized and other
commissions such as book illustration, murals and portraits of dignitaries followed. A print series inspired by Lithuanian
legends was acquired by two museums.
Ms. Siauciunaite has participated in close to 100 group and juried exhibits and
9 solo shows. Her work has been noted in several publications including "Lithuanian Artists in North America,"
Chicago, 1994. Recently her work has been displayed at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Rental and Sales Gallery
and the Jacob Javits Center in New York. Her collectors number across three continents...
