An award-winning
artist, Barbara's greatest pleasure is painting on location, which has taken her to venues around her home area of Southern
California, the Southwest, Europe, Hawaii and South America. "I am inspired not only by the beauty of nature, but
also by man-made creativity, color, and form. I especially love to combine them." Roger Armstrong describes
her work as having "an emotional quality that transcends the actual medium." Having lived in Dana Point since
1987, she is continually inspired by the beauty around our beach and mission communities.
